The process time for a Turkey tourist visa can vary depending on how you apply.

  • e-Visa: If you’re eligible, the e-Visa application is quick and can often be processed within minutes to a few hours.
  • Sticker Visa (via embassy or consulate): If you need to apply through an embassy or consulate, it typically takes around 7 to 10 business days, but it could take longer in some cases.

For a Turkey tourist visa application through the embassy, the fees are typically structured as follows:

  • Appointment Fee: ₹6,814 (This fee is paid online when you schedule your appointment)
  • Embassy Fee: ₹10,556 (This fee is paid in cash at the time of your appointment at the embassy).
Important Documents Required
  1. Original Passport: Passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon arrival in Turkey and should have at least 2 full blank pages available in it.
  2. Passport Copies: Copies of first, last and visa pages of the passport.
  3. Two identical photographs: The photos should be with a white background in 2.5inch x 2.5inch size.
  4. Visa application form: To be filled manually by Blue or Black ink in block letters with 1 biometric photo affixed to it, signed by the applicant/legal guardian in case minors.
  5. Original Previous Passport/s:If the previous passport is lost police FIR document is required.
  6. Adhaar Card and Pan Card
  7. Flight Tickets: Round trip flight Reservations (Dummy tickets).
  8. Hotel Reservation: Dummy reservations.
  9. Proof of Funds: To show that you have enough money for your trip, you need to provide documents like CA Report, bank statements, pay slips, or a letter from your employer. The amount required depends on how long you plan to stay and your travel plans. For a single person, it’s good to have at least 1 lakh INR to show that you can cover your expenses during your stay.
  10. Occupational Documents:
    1. If you’re employed, you need to provide evidence of your job and your ability to return to your home country after the visit.
    2. Required Documents
      • Your position, salary, and length of employment.
      • Confirmation that you are on leave and expected to return to your job after the trip.
      • Details of the vacation/leave dates and your return date.
      • Recent Pay Slips: A few months’ worth of pay slips to show your income and employment history.
      • Tax Returns: Copies of your recent tax returns.
    3. If you own a business or are self-employed, you need to provide proof of your business and financial standing.
    4. Required Documents
      • Business Registration Documents: Proof of business registration, such as the business license, certificate of incorporation, or partnership agreement.
      • Income Tax Returns: Personal and business income tax returns for the last 2-3 years to show stable income and financial stability.
      • Financial Statements: Bank statements and other financial documents that demonstrate the financial health of the business.
    5. If you are a farmer, you need to prove your farming activities and financial stability to show that you are committed to returning to your home country after your visit.
    6. Required Documents
      • Land Ownership Documents: Proof of land ownership, such as the title deed of your farm or lease agreements.
      • Agricultural Income Proof/ JForms: Documentation of income generated from farming activities, such as receipts, sales invoices, or financial statements.
      • Tax Returns: Personal and farming-related tax returns for the past 2-3 years.
    7. If you are a student, you need to show that you are currently studying and intend to return to your educational institution after your visit.
    8. Required Documents
      • Enrollment Certificate: A letter from your school or university confirming that you are currently enrolled and in good standing.
      • No Objection Letter: A letter from your educational institution granting you permission to take a short leave for travel.
      • Sponsor Documents (if applicable): If someone is sponsoring your trip, include their financial documents, an affidavit of support.
  11. Day-To-Day Visa Travel Itinerary: A “Turkey Visa Day-To-Day Travel Itinerary” is a schedule that contains details about your travel plans, such as your travel dates, flight and hotel booking/reservation, destinations you plan to visit at specified times, and means of transportation to move between those destinations.
  12. Travel Insurance: The travel insurance should cover the duration of stay in Turkey.
  13. Cover Letter: Covering letter with entire travel plan from the applicant mentioning the purpose of stay in detail, accompanying person’s details, duration of stay, occupation, and expenses clause with signature and contact details.
