USA Visitor/Tourist Visa (B1-B2)
USA Visitor Visa-B1/B2 Visa
USA Visitor Visa Description
A U.S. visitor visa (B1/B2 visa) allows people to travel to the United States temporarily for business (B1) or tourism (B2), such as attending meetings or vacations, or for medical treatment. It does not allow you to work in the U.S. You must return to your home country after the visit. To get a B1/B2 visa for the U.S. from India, every applicant must first complete an online application. Then, two appointments need to be made: one at the Visa Application Center (VAC) for fingerprinting and a photo, and another for the visa interview at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate. The VAC appointment should be scheduled before the visa interview. Applicants under the age of 14 or over the age of 80 may qualify to get their travel authorization without the need to undergo a consular interview. They may submit the visa application at a Visa Application Center (VAC) as an Interview Waiver.
U.S. visitor visa (B1/B2) can be valid for 1 to 10 years, allowing multiple entries, but the duration of stay per visit is usually up to 6 months.
